Privacy Policy
This Website
Short version: this is a portfolio site with one form on it. It has no accounts, no tracking cookies, and no advertising. If you fill in the quote form, the answers are emailed to me and nowhere else. Everything else it records is anonymous, aggregate traffic.
What this site collects
Anonymous traffic analytics. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless. It counts page views and rough referrer and country data in aggregate so I can see what's useful. It sets no cookies, does not track you across other sites, does not fingerprint your device, and stores no personal information — your IP address is used only momentarily to serve the page and is not retained by the analytics.
Self-hosted fonts and assets. Fonts and images are served from this site's own domain rather than a third-party CDN, so no outside font or ad network sees your visit.
If you use the quote form
The quote form is the one place this site asks you for anything. It collects your name and email address, optionally your phone number and business name, your answers to a set of multiple-choice questions about the project, and any notes you choose to write.
I use it for exactly one thing: reading your request and emailing you back a quote. It is not marketing data. You are not added to a mailing list, there is no list to add you to, and nothing you send is shared, sold, or rented to anyone.
Submitting the form is entirely voluntary — if you'd rather not fill anything in, email support@tapshiftdev.com directly and we'll sort it out that way.
Who else handles it
Two services sit between you and my inbox, and neither does anything with your information beyond delivering it:
- Cloudflare — hosts this site, routes email to my inbox, and runs the Turnstile check on the form that keeps bots out.
- Resend — delivers the form submission to me and sends your confirmation email. Resend sends through Amazon SES and keeps delivery logs for about 30 days.
Cookies
There are no tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies on this site. The one exception is security: if Cloudflare Turnstile decides your visit needs an interactive check before the form will submit, it may set a short-lived cookie and use your browser's session storage to remember that you passed it. That's a strictly necessary security measure, it expires quickly, and it isn't used to profile or follow you.
What this site does not do
- No tracking or advertising cookies.
- No ad pixels, no third-party trackers, no behavioral profiling.
- No selling, renting, or sharing of data. There's nothing to sell.
- No accounts to create, and no logins anywhere on the site.
If you email me
When you write to support@tapshiftdev.com, the message is delivered through Cloudflare Email Routing to a private inbox. I use what you send solely to reply and to do the work we discuss. You're never added to a mailing list, and your message isn't shared with anyone else.
How long I keep it
Quote requests and emails live in my inbox. If we don't end up working together, I delete the request within twelve months. If we do, I keep what's needed for the work and for my own business records.
Getting your information removed
Email support@tapshiftdev.com and ask. I'll delete what I hold and confirm that I've done it. You don't need to give a reason, cite a regulation, or fill in another form.
App privacy
The apps I publish have their own, separate privacy policies — most process everything on your device and collect nothing. You'll find them on the Legal page.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will always live at this address with a new "last updated" date above.
